Oxitec is pleased to announce that Richard Adey has been appointed as Business Development Manager for Asia. Richard will be focussing on the commercialisation of Oxitec’s insect control technology in Asian markets, in particular for control of mosquitoes which transmit dengue fever, which is a serious and increasing health problem in the region’s cities.
Richard brings a wealth of directly relevant experience, having spent several years establishing new public health products in Asia. Over the past 20 years, he has held key business positions in the public health, crop protection, and fine chemical sectors, at major international companies.
