Oxitec aims to be a world leader in the field of biological insect pest control by developing and introducing technology to improve the well-established Sterile
Insect Technique (SIT). Potential improvements include enhanced effectiveness, reduced cost, a wider range of applications, and reduced environmental impact of this already very environment-friendly approach. Oxitec’s

and public health and will be a valuable tool in integrated pest
management programs.
