RIDL technology is potentially applicable to a wide range of both beneficial and pest insect species. Oxitec is keen to collaborate with academic, corporate or government entities in order enhance the development of our technology and to apply it to a wide range of opportunities. For example, we would like to collaborate with groups skilled in insect transformation, insect mass rearing and/or the implementation of SIT programmes, who are interested in extending RIDL to new species or new geographic areas.
