Benjamin is responsible for leading a team to execute technical aspects of US projects including the Friendly™ Aedes aegypti deployment in Florida, ensuring smooth collaboration with our partners and ensuring reliability in our project data. He is also a founding member of the Oxitec data management team and has been the lead architect for the electronic data collection system used by Field Operations.

Benjamin began his career in mosquito control in the public sector, control pest and disease carrying mosquitoes. He holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of Utah and a Masters of Science in Medical Entomology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Benjamin joined Oxitec in 2017 and has been a key contributor to projects in the Cayman Islands and Brazil, and leads our technical team in Florida. Benjamin, his wife Christina and their four children share a mission to improve lives and livelihoods and to serve in their community.
