Stephanie is Oxitec’s Director of Global Communications. She oversees all aspects of Oxitec’s internal and external communications, building and executing global strategies for corporate reputation, policy, public and media relations, internal and external communication, branding and product launches. At the program-level, Stephanie supports Oxitec’s community engagement efforts, ensuring programs continue to operate with the support of, and in partnership with, the communities Oxitec serves.

Stephanie’s previous experience spans the non-profit and health sectors, most recently working for Target Malaria, communicating about the potential of genetically modified mosquitoes for malaria control in Africa. Stephanie previously also worked for a strategic communications consultancy, advising clients in the development and global health space.

Stephanie completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Cambridge in Politics and International Relations and her master’s at the London School of Economics in Global Politics. She is fluent in English, French and Greek and lives in London, UK with her partner.
